Gender Euphoria is a psychological condition which consists of comfort or even joy when thinking about one's true Gender identity, often accompanied by a strong desire to change one's sex to better match their identity or to be called the correct gendered language.

Euphoria can be focused upon bodily attributes, treatment from others. It is possible for nonbinary people to feel gender euphoria too, for much the same reasons as binary transgender people. Ashley and Ellis describe it as a distinct enjoyment or satisfaction caused by the correspondence between the person’s gender identity and gendered features associated with a gender other than the one assigned at birth.

Much like gender dysphoria is the state of a person being distressed by their body and wanting to attain the body of their correct gender, gender euphoria is the state of a person liking the features of the body of the correct gender and wanting to attain them because of that. Both are factors which cause people to transition, only one puts the emphasis on the person's current body and the impossibility to live normally in it while the other puts the emphasis on their future body and the desire to live normally in it.

Gender euphoria is an experience transgender and non-binary individuals feel instead of or along with gender dysphoria. A trans or non-binary person may feel gender euphoria by presenting as the gender they identify with and/or by using their preferred pronouns.
