Thinking of making a 'jak card game. It will have 5-6 classes and some spicy mechanics.
Combat
Probably a split between "attack" and "defence" points, possibly lives instead of health so you have to remove all of a 'Jaks lives to kill it. Reducing a 'Jak to 0 attack or defence points possibly destroys them to same way removing all their lives does. If damage exists it probably reduces defence.
Card Types
'Jaks: Basically units from other games.
Actions: Like spells from regular games to account for the fact Jaks are more powerful due to the life mechanics.
Combo: Less powerful than regular actions but can combo with other cards for bonus effect.
Command: Works like regular actions but requires a 'Jak to well initiate the command.
Weapons: Allow your hero to attack Jaks, will probably work like it does in Eternal by giving you "Exoskeleton" which when lost destroys the weapon.
Also in terms of Subtypes there will be "Instants" which can be activated on your opponents turns and possibly "Trapdoors" which can be set on your turn (and possibly your opponents turn) and activate when certain conditions are met.
Mana
Called Soylent Bottles (or just Bottles for short). Also possibly features a Fatigue mechanic which works like Overload from Hearthstone.
Some basic keywords
Mask: Protects a 'Jak from a single Action, Combo or Jak effect before being lost.
Flee: Works like "Deathrattle" effects but adds a copy to your hand without Flee and possibly some other effects. Also doesn't trigger with Last Post.
First Post: What happens when a 'Jak is summoned.
Last Post: What happens when a 'Jak is destroyed.
Devour: Directly destroys an enemy regardless of remaining lives.
Cancel: Like Devour but also Exiles (to prevent graveyard synergies) a 'Jak and stops any Flee or Last Post effects from triggering.
Ban: Acts exactly like counter effects in that it prevents an effect from happening.
As for the classes i got 6 so far...
Thoughers: The thoughjak class, features the most powerful and numerous Devour effects as well as Flee synergy (think does). Also features cards which discard cards and cards which synergise with being discarded.
Bugs: The city dweller/environmentalist class. Features ramp effects and sciencey effects like healing, graveyard synergy and buffing. Also Mask synergy. Possibly features silence type effects to represent deboonkers and cleanse type effects which only get rid of debuffs.
Meds: The dedicated big pharma/fbi class with Weapons synergy, Mask synergy and general law and order type effects. Will probably have more Ban effects.
Tranny: The 2SLGBTQP+ class. Features self harm and Last Post effects, alignment changing HRT effects (and possible silences). Also powerful Ban effects as well as Cancel effects.
Consoomer: The video games/anime/funko pops class. features card generation, the ability to Devour friendly Jaks for bonus effects. Probably features effects when it either destroys a Jak or hits the enemy hero. Definitely features stealing effects which allow you to acquire enemy cards for your own.
Wholesome: The wholesome/reddit class. Features buffing effects as well as synergy with having played multiple cards in a turn and small card generation to enable it. Also probably features Ban effects to represent reddit moderators.

New Class Schizo/Feral: Consists of asylum patients, deranged animals and religionjaks. Don't know what it does but probably has some sort of "frenzy" keyword. Also can make your hero attack without Weapons.
Deckbuilding Notes
Decks probably consist of 40 cards. May add a sidedeck probably consisting of a max of 6 cards.
There are probably 5 tiers of rarity from most common to least.
-Dust
-Coal
-Soy
-Unsure of what to call this nothing really stands out just don't want Soy to be the second highest tier
-Gem
Rarity affects deckbuilding you can only add 3 copies of a Dust card, 1 copy of a Gem card and 2 copies of any other card to your deck. Gem's are probably named and feature search effects similar to how Legendaries in Hearthstone are searched.
I think Primary Class + Secondary Class would be a good deckbuilding choice. You could only have a certain number of cards from your secondary class and certain cards (labelled "Primary") would only be availible if you chose that class as your primary. Also would probably feature colour exclusive cards which have certain bonus effects if your current deck is exclusively composed of cards of a certain class.
Hero Powers: Will most likely give between 2-3 options for each class for which power you want and restrict you to only chosing powers from your primary class. This is assuming i have them of course.
Class (dunno what to call this other than "Class")
Might feature and RPS system of Warriors, Rogues and Mages with Warriors being strong against Rogues, Rogues being strong against Mages and Mages being strong against Warriors. Might subdivide it into Offensive and Defensive versions which only trigger when attacking and defending against a class their strong against respectively.
Minion Types
I have the following minion types planned.
Animals: For the 'mals functions like Beasts in Hearthstone. Specific to Though, Wholesome, Bugs and Schizo classes.
Moderators: Synergise with Ban effects or effects like them. Specific to Meds, Tranny and Wholesome classes.
Troons: Have conversion type effects which make enemy cards Troons and have the most class specific destroy effects. Specific to the Tranny class.
Female: Refers to explicitly female 'Jaks.
Racialjaks: Refer to 'Jaks of a specific race. Will probably add at least White, Brown, Asian and Black 'Jaks but will possibly subdivide Brown into Latinx, Arab and Indian.
Scions: For story characters, all 'Jaks which belong to this tier are Gems tier.
There will be more Minion Types.
Nas Corner
Thinking of adding special Nas cards in one of the expansions. I have 2 specific Nas's in mind.
Chudjaks: Might offer effects not normally availible to your class but at a cost.
Chads (can't use Gigachads as that's a copyright): Need to be ritual summoned but are generally more powerful than regular cards.

First Post: Discover an Action, do this 2 more times.
(Not sure how to stat it but it's First Post makes it a strong card for control decks)

Flee: Gain +2/2 and draw a card but lose 1 Life
Last Post: Devour an enemy 'Jak

I don't really remember how I exactly learned how to code, but my first tutorial was someone who was doing a space shooter in 8 minutes and I copied his code. Then I was making more platformers, shooters, even simple strategies and even stickman gta, but these 2 later were never finished because of too high ambition. The progress slowed down when I discovered 9gag-like websites which drained me of productivity. ;_;
Back to the Java, I learned ifs when I was 11, then whiles when I was 14, then functions at 15. I learned things like inheritance of classes and lambda functions only in the college. xp When I needed something I looked on the internet, but I didn't really like frameworks and learning new things when I have everything needed to make a game.
If it comes to frames and animation there is a recursive function with setTimeout which calls itself every 25ms. Also
all objects are placed in an array where every of them does some action each frame, but only if they are in sight of the main protagonist.
Also, the most important thing from mathematics was analytic geometry because mario goes x when he walks and goes y when he jumps. Idk if something more is needed from math, maybe only computational complexity.

I didn't know about this shortcut to skip the chud zoo (stream of chuddy insults).
Also during the last update I tried to improve "sight" of all mobs, but then fingerboy part was hardly passable and stream of insults in the chud zoo accelerated me beyond the walls.
