Al Sneed, known informally as Sneed, is the owner of Sneed's Feed & Seed, a convenience store close to the Farm where Homer grew up.

Sneed purchased the store from Chuck and his wives for an undisclosed amount, later renaming it to place a greater emphasis on agricultural supplies. Sneed and Chuck remain on good terms with Chuck occasionally working at the convenience store alongside an elderly man.

Al Sneed's full name, identity and backstory was revealed by Ian Maxtone-Graham in a Twitter post. Previously he had been referred to as Farmer 2.
